Freibergsee Frühling Tourismus Oberstdorf

Our tip for leisurely hikers is the walk around the Freibergsee

A variant would be to drive by car or bus to the Fellhornbahn and from there in direction to Schwand (restaurant with a nice terrace and good food) to Freibergsee.

It also offers a visit to the Heini-Klopfer-Skiflugschanze, which is right on the way to the Freibergsee. From there you have a breathtaking view of the Freibergsee and the mountains of Oberstdorf.

You can once round the highest mountain lake in Germany and alternatively stop off in the Freibergsee natural outdoor pool.

Then you can walk back to the parking lot or, if you are traveling by bus, drive back to Oberstdorf at the bus stop Renksteg.
