Viehscheid (cattle drive) in Oberstdorf
The Alpine cattle drive in Oberstdorf is one of the most popular events of the year.
On 13 September from around 9:30 a.m. the cows arrive from the Bierenwangalpe, Taufersbergalpe, Haldenwang, Rappenalpe, Biberalpe and Traufbergalpe am Ried (south of Oberstdorf).
For a comfortable journey, everything is taken care of. Shuttle buses will depart from Oberstdorf to the Viehscheidplatz starting at 8:00 a.m.
A marquee with drinks and hearty dishes is available for you on site in Ried.
