10 different cross-country ski trails await you, covering a distance of 75 km in various difficulty levels in Oberstdorf and the surrounding area.

You can easily reach the cross-country ski trails in the “meadows” on foot from Hotel Rubihaus (700 m away).

From there you can reach the Ried cross-country skiing centre and the World Cup trail through the Oberstdorf cross-country skiing network.

The trails in the “meadows” of Oberstdorf are ideal for beginners. Flat and sunny cross-country ski trails with a beautiful view of the Allgaeu mountains invite you to classic technique or skating.

Experienced cross-country skiers have the opportunity to do their laps in the Ried World Cup cross country skiing centre, for example on the Burgstall-Steig.

The partly steeply ascending trails offer excellent training for advanced cross-country skiers.

From here you can go cross-country skiing to the Fellhornbahn/Birgsau or to the Heini-Klopfer ski flying hill.
